Little Lambs Preschool

Part-Time

"Jesus said to them, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.'”

~ Mark 10:14 ~

Welcome!

Here at Little Lambs Preschool, we offer a Christ-centered early childhood education. Our program nurtures the spiritual, emotional, social, academic, and physical development of preschool-age children.

Mission Statement

Little Lambs Preschool, a ministry of Redeemer Lutheran Church, exists to help parents prepare children in our church and community for elementary school using a quality, Christ-centered curriculum.

Education Philosophy

Our program provides a safe, healthy environment that fosters spiritual, social, emotional, academic, and physical development.  Our program includes age-appropriate and developmentally sound activities such as art, fine motor, sensory, imaginative play, music, Bible lessons, as well as indoor and outdoor large motor activities.

Christian values and virtues are modeled and mentored at all times. This Christian aspect of our program makes Little Lambs unique and sets us apart from many other early childhood programs.

Faculty

As a teacher I believe…

  • every child is a gift from God
  • every child should hear the good news of Jesus—He is our Savior from sin and death.
  • every child has a desire to learn.
  • all children are unique in the way they learn and interact with the environment around them.
  • education must be meaningful.
  • in teaching to the whole child—academically, socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

My name is Mandy Moldenhauer. I graduated from Martin Luther College (MLC) in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in education. I have taught at the preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school levels.

I am married to Pastor Tom Moldenhauer and we have three children. We enjoy watching and playing sports, camping, traveling, and visiting with friends and family.

We plan our learning activities based on the High Scope Curriculum, where "children are guided to explore, interact, and exercise their creative imagination through purposeful play." (Source: highscope.org)

"My son LOVES Little Lambs Preschool, and my husband and I do, too! We could not ask for a more supportive and nurturing environment. The teacher genuinely cares about each student and gets to know them individually.  Our son is excited to share his learning with us as soon as he gets home, and he can’t wait until it is preschool day again! I feel that Little Lambs is truly a blessing for my child and the children and families in the community!"

Brandon’s words:  “Do you know what’s fun, Mom?”  “What?”  “PRESCHOOL!"

“Thank you for all you do!”

"My son has learned so much from Little Lambs Preschool. With the small class size he receives more one on one and still gets the social side of school. He has grown so much in a year and I am so glad I enrolled him in class.”
